Question on autographed cards missing the graph
I have a 2001 Crowne Royal Rookie Signatures Drew Brees card that is supposed to be autographed but is missing the autograph. Im sure that takes value away from it, but being a Brees rc, is it still worth anything? Would this be cosidered an error? And help is appreciated.
Thank you
Jeff

I'm just trying to figure out how you are a Browns and Steelers fan. What is going on there?!?! How do you safely attend games?
As for the card are you sure there's not a "no autograph" variation on the checklist? They do make those in some sets (Contenders does it).

If it is indeed a rookie card that was supposed to be autographed, and was not autographed, and then accidentally put in a pack then that substantially increases the value IMHO. If the company is aware of it, they might know how many were released. If they don't know, you probably have a 1 of 1.

Did you pull it from a pack? If not I'm going to guess this leaked out when Pacific went out of business. Some stock they had that never got signed that they just kept in storage until they went out of business. If that's the case it should still have some value but nowhere close to what an autograph version would bring but probably more value than a non autograph rookie of Brees from something like Topps.

No, its not from a pack. But I always thought that card companies destroyed unused stock like that after a few years.

Its puzzled me since I pulled it from my collection while looking at what I have to trade.
