Trade/Sale Value Question - Premier Mega Patches

When looking at this year's Mega Patch designs vs. last year, various teams had changes to the number of cards in a set. When looking at Zetterberg, he had 17 cards make up the chest patch last year, this year he's up to 18. Would you say the same patch locations (center of the wheel) would have the same value year over year or would the 15/16 patches need a "topper"

I would think the cards would be about worth the same.

I've been watching for Lucic Oilers patches from that set. Two sold within 50 cents of each other (little better than $50), but a third one - had a big chunk of the oil drop - sold for more than double that.

With a Wings patch: I'd expect the center of the crest, the wheel, to sell for a huge premium over every other card.... regardless if that crest was cut into 17 or 18 pieces.

I would expect that the value wouldn't be any different from one year to the next, at all. 17 vs 18 copies isn't enough to really change it IMO.
