Site issue or just me
I have been having some issues with the site lately. It freezes on me every few seconds. As I'm typing this, it freezes on me after every 3 or 4 words I type. I'm not sure if it's the ads, or something wrong with my browser, which was recently updated. My memory is running nearly 50% right now, and it only does it when I'm on the site. If anyone can help, it would be appreciated

I'm thinking it has something to do with the adds myself. Overtime I step away from the site for even a few moments I get a bar at the top of my screen saying about the site being frozen on my computer as it was using so much memory.

Might be the ads. But what browser are you using? Also can you guys see what ad is taking forever to load? If so let scott know and he can just block that one from screwing up if that's the case.

For me I'm using safari on my mac. And it isnt the same ad everytime for me unfortunately. But it isnt a big deal for me either. I quickly reload the page and am fine again until I'm away from my computer for a time again.

It's not just you.
I had this happen back in Feb/March, and posted about it here;

Like you said, it just "froze" on me, (Safari on a Mac), and I couldn't even get three or four words. One character, and that was it. I thought my computer had picked that moment to die on me, haha. But like you, it only happened here.
If I remember right, I deleted SCF as a favorite place, restarted Safari, and my computer itself, and then came straight back here by typing out the www. name manually, and again saving it as a favorite place.
Rather than using my usual shortcut.

All the ads loaded for me. But there was something else trying to load that wouldn't. I would refresh the page or exit out completely, and it would still happen. I run FireFox on my HP desktop. Now as I'm typing this.... the site is running normal for me. Running normal memory. Whatever it was, I hope it doesn't happen again. Thank you for confirming it wasn't on my end.

I have a iMac and use safari all the time and not had any issues of freezing. Best thing to do is tag scottkoz20 to follow up on issues like this as we like all members to report them as it only helps others that might be having problems. Not good to have any users having issues when their might be a solution out there.
