You know, that wouldn't shock me ... I actually think the 49'ers may have had a better chance to sign Jimmy G to a long-term contract in the offseason had he stayed in New England, more so than they do now that he's on their team for the second half of the season.
The reason I say the above is because the 49'ers are a dumpster fire ... they have no legit weapons at the receiver spot, their RB is ho-hum and their line is average ... I just think Jimmy could play 8 games there and say, "No way do I want to play here for the rest of my career" and sign elsewhere ... maybe with the Jets or Browns or Jags, etc.

Wow! All the Panthers got was a 3rd & 7th rounder for their best WR who's only 26 years old ... strange ... great move for the Bills imho though ... Tyrod has a legit RZ threat!
I have no idea why the Dolphins would trade him for a mere 4th rounder ... this is a head-scratcher for me ...

Gase put all the blame on Ajayi for the 40-0 loss this past week, so he wanted him out. I watched most of the game, and I didn't see Ajayi throw 2 Pick 6's. Eagles giving up a 4th was a no-brainer for them, as with a nice steady rotation of him and Blount should make defenses not want to see them run the ball.

Great TRADE season this year though with Jimmy G, Kelvin Benjamin and Jay Ajayi all switching teams ... fun!

they did, but they screwed around and didn't get it into league office in time! Leave it to the Browns to botch a trade like this!
