Help A Newbie Out?
Hey Guys,
I'm new to hockey card collecting, but I already am loving collecting hockey.
I am a DIEHARD Tampa Bay Lightning fan. My favorite player of all-time is Vinny Lecavalier.
I also am of Finnish heritage. I'm second generation Finnish. Both my grandparents on my dad's side are from Finland, so I'm the first child
in my family who has anything but Finnish in me LOL...
I want to start a collection of all Lightning players and Finnish players like Donskoi, Jokinen, Koivu, Barkov, Aho, etc.
But I have one Finnish player that I want to supercollect.
Patrik Laine.
Any help would be appreciated and apologies if I posted this in the wrong thread...

Welcome aboard and good luck building your collection! It's very cool to hear that your heritage has inspired you to collect players from Finland, and Laine is going to be a bonafide stud of a player.
If you would like to put up a post in the Trading section listing your specific player wants, that will get a lot more eyes and responses for you.
If you have any questions about the site, don't hesitate to contact us!
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Thanks!
I want to start trading/buying but at the same time, I need a little help in what do I go for first. I know Young Guns are king, but beyond that I really don't know much...

There are alot more sets. SPA Future Watch Auto's, the Cup Rookie Patch Auto's & Ultimate etc are at the top of the heap, they make YG's look cheap lol.. It all depends on how much you wanna spend as to the cards you will get from each player your looking for. Do some scrolling through the Buy & Sell section & it will give you a general idea of what kind of prices your looking at. There is also EBay & COMC you can get references from as well..
Anyways, good luck with your collection & welcome to the site.. Cheers
