    Start with just one player and go from there. See where you stand in a month. You cold also collect the team set (usually base) but it could make for a nice inexpensive display in the right frame.

    I kind of miss collecting base cards, reminds me of when I started collecting hockey cards the first time around, in the 90s. For me as a kid it was great even though the cards pretty much were worth nothing. Remember when my hands trembled when I hit a Lemieux, Gretzky, Roy or (P) Forsberg insert in Parkhurst! Sweet memories!
