I'm Back With it!! Using the SCF Inventory Manager for Trading!!! Who Has Their Inventory Loaded Up?

Hi Everyone!!

I did this last year, and had some great success with it. I was able to connect with a great many people on here who have uploaded their card inventory to the IM, and make some rather shall I say embarrasingly stellar fast, and comprehensive trades that involved some really big card lots going either way. That is because of a plethora of very helpful search tools.

If you have your entire want list input into the IM. There is a little link that will help you see all that is available by members here on SCF, of cards they have that you need. If those members also have that want list updated. They can do the same search, and see what you have uploaded to your inventory. Easy peasy!

You can use this tool not only to trade with me, but You can use it as a portal to intiate trades with other members here on SCF.

For all the SCF members here that don't use the IM however, but are curious to see if you might be able to make any trades with me. You can still use it. It just requires a little more searching. It's easy enough. If you are looking for a certain player. Just type their name into the search field on this page: http://opg.sportscardforum.com/scf/inventory/Goose97 and the results will show up for what I have. If you are trying to search my inventory for cards to finish your set, use this advanced search, and make sure you tick the "trader only" box as well: http://opg.sportscardforum.com/scf/i...e97/advsearch/

If you are looking for cards of your team/s that you collect. There is a sidebar on the left on this page http://opg.sportscardforum.com/scf/i...7/page/1/sid/2 that you click, and that specific team you chose will show you the cards I have in my inventory.

If you want to know what my full want list is. This is a bit more work, but not ovewhelming. I can't separate everything out, but my comprehensive want list is here:http://opg.sportscardforum.com/scf/inv/wantlist/2/1 , or you could use the advanced search here:http://opg.sportscardforum.com/scf/i...dvsearch/pc/2/ and make sure you tick the "want only" box, and see if I do need it. If it doesn't show any results. Then I do have it.

Hopefully this is simplified enough.

There is only one problem I have. All my duplicate cards of my main players that I collect can't be clicked as both PC and trader. So those cards won't show up in my results. I still use my trade site as well. So if you're looking for any Jagr, Palffy, Stumpel, or Dustin Boyd you'll have to scootch through there with the CTRL + f as your friend. That link is in my signature.

So now for trading parameters. I am looking for my wants first and foremost! If you see a really nice low print Lemieux jersey auto I may have available. Let it be known. Something significant Jagr or Palffy "has" to be coming back my way for it. I don't trade away my more valuable cards for trade bait.

I am of the schooling that if you have something significant I need, and I may not have anything in return, then! I am willing to go out and search for something to appropriate to make a trade happen.

I have been entering all of my traders and wants into the system. It's a great tool.
I do occasionally run into someone that is no longer "into trading" or "Has left the collecting hobby".

Hi, I apologize that I don't have the time to invest in getting my stuff into the tool (it took me years to get - and keep - Beckett up-to-date and just can't afford a new big project like that). With working and coaching 3 hockey teams, I barely have time to trade as it is lol. I noticed on your list that I don't think you had this Palffy. Please let me know if you're interested as I would love to trade. Thanks. MC
