That IS a great idea! Never thought of that. I thought you were going to suggest donating & writing it off. But after I read your idea, I gotta tip my hat to you. AWESOME idea!

I saw someone who would make the same thing, team bags of cards and donate them to childrens hospitals. Just another idea.

When I get MULTIPLE ip autos or gu that are not my favorite team I gave some to the Special Ed teacher at the local hs. Find out if they have a points behavior system and thus a "class Store" You would be amazed what the kids will do for a auto or a game used of a player.

I take mine to the kids baseball field up the street, obviously you want to introduce yourself first to the coaches and parents. Hand them out to the kids after the game, they are always super stoked to get them. I play baseball in the late summer and fall, and help out once in awhile with the younger kids in the neighborhood.
The halloween idea is a great one as well. Ideas like this make kids really happy and sparks interest in them.

Like Spatanfan18 i do the tax deduction, but my accountant has always told me to keep it under $5,000 or you could raise the dreaded audit flag. I always wonder where the cards go?

Glad I could assist everyone with a little purging as well as giving to the kids.
