Real or Fake? Need Help! (Mostly Pre-1900's Cards)
Hey Everyone,
This is my first post since joining SportsCardForum, so please be patient with me as I start to learn the landscape of this forum. With that said, I came across these cards about 10 years back and bought them from a man in Texas. I've never taken the time to get them professionally looked at and I would love everyones insight on whether or not these cards are legit. Please let me know any additional questions you guys have, thanks!

Tough to say with just pics- and forgeries and reprints are getting better. My advice would be to send one of them to be professionally looked at, since you got them all from the same guy. If one is fake, they likely all are- same with legit- if one is good, then the rest have a better chance to be as well

My advice would be to get one graded because if it comes back fake the whole bunch would most likely be and that way you don't waste all your money on a bunch of fakes and just one.
But for my quick forum advice I will say they are most likely all fake. Sorry but the cards look too new. They shouldn't be white and they either are or are showing white in certain places. That shouldn't happen with 100 year old cards or any 100 year old paper.*New* Selling All My Cards Here------>Hidden Content

I agree with pwaldo. From the pictures they look artificially aged, and the colors look off.

I'm not an expert in this time period, but I agree with the others, from the pics, they look fake.

For something that old there shouldn't be any whiteness - even if you cut the card in half it wouldn't be that much of a bright white.

Cards are really bad reprints, not even close.
