    BGS sub grades

I just picked this card up. I’m just curious if having a 9 corner sub grade is bad. Would it hurt the value of the card down the road? Or is my OCD playing tricks on me. LOL. Any input would help. Thanks!

    1. this is a gorgeous card congrats
    2. I think your question will just depend on the collector. There are some collectors that won't view a 9.5 with a 9 sub as a true gem mint card. Others like myself will understand a patch card is thicker and corners are tough; with a 10 sub overall your subs are pretty good. So, there's not a definitive answer to this question. When it comes to graded cards its how each individual collector views it and how they value it for their collections.

If you want a more definitive answer, I would not say the 9 subgrade "hurts" the value. However, stronger subs all around would have of course increased the value, IMO.

I'll let others chime in too :)

Thank you for the input. I appreciate it. You thought me a lot with your reply. The 9 sub-grade didn’t bother me when I purchased it. Now that it’s in my hand, it kind of does. I guess I got to learn to love it. Lol. Thanks again
