Smile Please Help... What is a Hot Pack???

I've been on eBay seeing the ads for all of these Hot Packs?

    what are they?

How are they guaranteed to have GU/Auto's etc..???

Are they a different color? Can they be pulled from normal hobby boxes?

    I'm confused.

Thanks in advance for any insight.

when a box says "garunteed 2 autos and 1 gu" or somehting on the front of the box and the person opens all the packs but 1, they have only bulled 1 gu and 1 auto... therefore they still have 1 auto left to pull... therefore its a hot pack garunteed auto/gu

yep they search them using their fingers often times they actually open the pack then glue it back together (hardly noticible)

well you cant even tell that since they started putting the "white spacers" in to deter this type of pack searching.....trust me, if the technology is out there to actually counterfit cards (decent counterfits at that) it is very easy to open a pack and switch out that reggie bush with a darrell hackney!! sure, 95% of the hot packs DO contain a gu/auto card, but not the one that it was supposed to have in it!!
