Beckett Grading - Graded Card Lookup

I was trying to look up a card recently on beckett's grading website and I must have slipped a digit while typing it in. Anyway, the serial number that I did type in belonged to a different card, but it had four (0) subgrades listed...

What does four (0) subgrades mean? Just curious, thank you.

good question!! sure it is a BGS card and not a BCCG grade?

    two guess:

    1) it was resubmitted and regraded, and they change the serial number, thus making that card "non existant"

    2) the card was altered/trimmed/etc....i know that when this occurs they charge you for the grading, but i dont think they slab them, so this is unlikely!!

im pretty sure that there are no "0" grades....everything atleast gets a 1, so there has to be something up with it in some way.

I don't think a BCCG card would register on the BGS grading site, would it? To me, it seems like the card was submitted for grading, but was returned ungraded (i.e. altered or something), that's why it received all 0's.

Like you said, a true card would have a grade of at least 1, wouldn't it?

the only thing is, im pretty sure that is a card is submitted and is found to be altered/trimmed/cut/counterfit then you get charged the grading fee, but beckett wont slab/encase it...they just send you back the card as it was sent in....so i dont think that is the case either....weird though!!

True, the first three digits are 000 so it only registers as 4031607.

    The full number is 0004031607.
