2017 Optic Hobby Box....no auto?

Just broke a hobby box of 2017 Optic and did not get an auto. I am going to file a Quality Assurance Claim with Panini with everything that they request. This was a box purchased on eBay. Is this a waste of my time or is Panini pretty good about sending something that would be comparable to what a hobby box would typically have (i.e. Rated Rookie auto)? Thanks in advance for the input!

It probably will depend on how reputable the seller on Ebay is. Is it someone that sells a lot of sealed boxes or is it someone that may have resealed the packs without the auto. Hopefully as long as you have everything they request they will make good on it though.

The seller has 100% feedback but is not a big seller of boxes from what I can tell and does have some history of selling "hot packs." We'll see....I'm not getting my hopes up. Fortunately, the two other boxes I broke before this one had a gold holo Christian McCaffrey auto #'d/10 and a Patrick Mahomes holo auto #'d/99! Thanks for the feedback!

Did you get a Panini Rewards points card in the box?

Nope, no points card.

Yeah sometimes they have point cards instead of the hits (which sucks) but if you got neither you got screwed on this box unless they don't guarantee and just say on average

Does the box say 1 auto on average? If so you might be out of luck but I'd still contact. Good luck!

Panini is usually pretty good if you provide proof of purchase, I have had to do it a few times over the years.
