Advice Wanted: Mult-Signed Item
I'm a long-time lurker, and a recently signed-up member.
I'm looking for the collective wisdom of others on an item I'd like to get signed by multiple people. I have an 8 x 10 photo picturing the last 4 coaches at my alma mater, and I'd like to get it signed by all 4. I sent the item TTM to the first individual and he signed it in the margin (as requested) but in ball point pen. As I get it signed by the other 3, should I stick with ball point pen for consistency's sake, or should I switch to a sharpie (maybe using a thinner point so it is similar to the first autograph)? (I'm assuming that the others will likely be acquired in-person since none are great TTM signers.)
If the answer is ball point pen, other than making sure the ink is flowing right before I hand the pen over, is there any advice for obtaining a consistently bold signature with this writing instrument on a photo? I think the photo is glossy without having it in hand at the moment.

Personally I would want to stick with the consistency of the same ink and would stay with the ink pen. A sharpie would look better, another option would be to resend to the first guy who I assume you are only able to get via TTM and send a sharpie with the request.
