My mother is about to die
Guys,
I was just informed by my father that my mother is about to die. She is 76 years old with COPD, and she is not recovering from pneumonia in the ICU. Doctors have given her hours to days to live.
Her last text to me was about the Cavs' situation before she fell ill in late January. I got my interest in sports largely from her.
I have sent out my latest two trades, but obviously I won't be making any more deals for awhile while I go through this. Thanks for understanding.

Thanks, guys. Much appreciated.
My dad has been really helpful sharing basketball with me since Mother passed. I think I can get back to trading again. Not sure I ever mentioned it here, but Mom and I would text during every Cavs game; the last one we shared was the Thunder/Cavs game in late January when both my favorite teams played. She was HUGE into basketball for many decades and got League Pass every year. I didn't think I'd be able to do any basketball for awhile, but Dad is excited over the new-look Cavs, and I'm glad they overhauled their roster during this time of change. Makes it easier to handle.
