What Jersey is This?
I need some help from fellow Habs fans, and probably Sabres fans as well. I'm usually pretty good at picking out jerseys on cards, but his one has me stumped. Below I have a link to a Vanek Full Coverage patch. It certainly looks like a Habs jersey nameplate, but I'm not sure if Panini ever got their hands on a Vanek Habs jersey. In the second link is another Vanek Full coverage patch, and it is obviously not Habs jersey. Now, logically I would think these would have come from the same jersey, but any red alternate Sabres jersey I could find online had different lettering for the nameplate. Could it be an all-star jersey? Let me know what you guys think, because I can't figuire this out.

Edit: Not sure why the post has "basketball" in front of it, this is obviously hockey.Last edited by subban7677; 01-20-2018 at 02:46 PM.

The second one is the Sabres 3rd jersey from the goat head days
Here’s an example

That Sabres jersey you pictured is the one I found, but as you can see the lettering is different that the one I put in the first link. That leads me to believe the first one may in fact be a Habs jersey as the lettering seems to match. But it would seem odd to me they would be using 2 different jerseys for these cards, and I have seen no other instances that would lead me to believe they got their hands on a Vanek Habs jersey.

First one definitely looks like a Habs jersey. Second one for sure a Sabres.
Remember that Habs picked up Vanek late in 13-14 so they wouldn’t have been able to work any memorabilia cards into their licensed products. That was the last year of their license. They were able to scoop up a jersey (so it seems) but since they didn’t get any 14-15 products they probably have the whole sweater still.

On this checklist ( https://www.cardboardconnection.com/...y-hockey-cards ) Vanek Full Coverage is from the Montreal Canadiens.
The first one might be from an Habs jersey, but on the second one, the grey looks much more like Sabres.

This whole product was just Panini dumping the left over memorabilia and autos.
Here is a good example of the same thing with multiple team jerseys same card. Brian Elliott with a Sens, Avs, and home and away Blues.

I remain skeptical as I have nothing else to compare it to. Plus the price in the auction is higher than I would want to go on something like that anyway. There seems to be enough consensus on here to get me to keep an eye out for these. Thanks!

Just wanted to update that I think I solved the mystery. Almost positive this is not Habs jersey, and it is in fact a 2008-09 all star jersey. The card below lead me to this decision.
