C'mon Upper Deck! This is just lazy and sloppy

Well, this is unacceptable. I could tell that Upper Deck had used an old photo of Taylor Leier for this year's Compendium, because he wears a different number this year. But when I put the cards together I realized that the photos they used in 16-17 Compendium and 17-18 Compendium were taken from the same roll of film. In fact, it looks like this year's photo is only a half stride later than last year's, and a little zoomed in. Basically the same frickin' card. I consider that very lazy and sloppy. And this might be the only card made of Leier this year. Sucks for the PC. Anyone else notice this on other cards?

If I go through my Bill Ranford collection, there are many photos that have been used over and over again by UD (granted, that didn't happen while he was playing, so not exactly the same thing).

Now that's exactly what I want out of a favorite player of mine. Speaking of PC, they couldn't get a better shot of Evan Rodrigues than this??

I was going to reply to the original post by giving Upper Deck the benefit of the doubt, saying something like, "Maybe they don't have the manpower for that level of quality control."

But now that I've seen this? Sheesh. You've got to be kidding me.

It happens. I think all of us can point to this happening with our PC players over the years.

You should see some of the Team Canada stuff - every Shea Weber card in the Canadian Tire series (base, Canvas, and acetate) all have the same image. At least your example here is a tiny bit different. LOL
