Bobby Orr charging almost a grand for a special auto at the Expo in May!
Bobby Orr will appear at the Toronto Expo on May 5, but if you want a rookie card signed, it won’t be cheap. Getting your 1966-67 Topps card of the Boston Bruins legend autographed will cost a whopping $850.

That's nuts. Not sure how Frameworth can justify that.
What if it's a RC Reprint? lol.

Yeah, and the other thing that should be noted.... while I don't know this for a FACT, I would be willing to bet that Bobby Orr is not setting those prices. Frameworth is paying him $X, and for $X he has agreed to sit down and sign autographs for a set amount of time. Frameworth then sells tickets to the public, so they can get an autograph.
I would assume Orr gets paid a LOT of money to be there. I'd also assume that they will sell few (if any) tickets to get a Rookie Card signed.
The variable pricing (which I never really agreed with the principle of - an autograph is an autograph. If someone is signing a jersey for me, or a hockey card for you... there isn't a whole lot of difference) comes into play, because the "value" of what you got signed isn't necessarily the same (to which I say, so what?).
You're probably not even allowed to get jersey numbers signed.... and if you are, I'm betting they're considered Specialty Bulky.

@30ranfordfan You're more than likely right about the jersey numbers, especially since they'll be selling the Mitchell & Ness jerseys.
The other announced autograph guest is Joe Montana, and he will almost certainly be even more pricey than Orr on most items.

Consider it to be an appropriate fine for defacing a Bobby Orr RC.
The want list at this link features what I need of Gretzky, Roy, Ottawa Senators, and Miscellaneous sets. I also have a CFL want list on my page and if you have nothing from it I will consider other traders of current Ottawa Senators,Guy Lafleur, + trade bait.

FYI Apparently if you buy autograph tickets in advance you save the tax (13%), which is added to the price if you buy the tickets at the Expo, so there is that.
