Game Dated Moments Checklist type question
I know that Topps now releases stats on print runs for cards (see below). Has anyone heard if Upper Deck is going to something similar?
HIGHEST PRINT RUNS
To date, here are the five 2017 Topps Now cards with the highest print runs.
- Aaron Judge #654 – 16,138
- Aaron Judge #346 – 8,997
- Aaron Judge #238 – 8,623
- Aaron Judge #336 – 8,538
- Derek Jeter #147 -7,791
SMALLEST PRINT RUNS
On the opposite end of the spectrum, here are the five cards offered so far that were ordered in the smallest numbers (from main base cards, not autographs, relics and other special editions).
- Nelson Cruz #383 – 112
- Marcell Ozuna #362 – 113
- Daniel Descalso #493 – 124
- Chris Herrmann #303 – 127
- Jean Segura #392 – 127
- Yangervis Solarte #549 – 127

I don't think Upper Deck has any plans to release those numbers.
Probably find that McDavid has 2-3 times as many as everyone else though, lol.

Any reason you think they won't?

Their standard response to such inquiries is, "We will let the market determine the scarcity of these cards."
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

It's not that I have a great response for that... I don't have a reason why they won't. I'll just flip it: Can you think of any reason why they would? I mean, when they print these cards off and make 100 copies, or 3000 copies, or 786 copies (whatever the numbers are) someone would have to remember that number and post it online somewhere. That's a lot of work, why would they bother?
(Yes, I'm being a little sarcastic here... it would be a pretty simple piece of info to provide.... but I have no expectation they'll do it. They don't need to, so they won't)

Yeah, UD just doesn't see the point or don't care to do so. It is what it is I guess.
