Bears Cut Mike Glennon

Less than a year after signing him to a 3-year deal worth $45 million, the Chicago Bears have cut Mike Glennon. The team’s general manager Ryan Pace notified Glennon and the media Wednesday that he will be released once the league year begins on March 14.

They overpaid for him to begin with. I’m a Bears fan and my hope at season end lasts year was that they resigned Hoyer to a 2 year deal and draft DeShaun Watson. I should be the GM!

I still can't believe they signed Glennon AND traded up to get Trubisky.... i dont understand the thinking, but hindsight is 20/20

Agreed. I thought they should have given Barkley a shot, draft defense in 2017 (good year for it) then be in a position now to be taking what is regarded as a good draft class for QBs. Barkley certainly had the team in positions to win, too many dropped passes, especially that game against Tennessee. I recall reading back in 2016 that the 2018 class was looking good for QBs, 2017 class for defense.
