general question- first off the line boxes do they stack more hits?

In addition to the guarantee of a 1/9 orange prism (that could be a bencher) do they try to stick more money cards into the first off the line boxes at all.

Seems to me like I would rather get 2 hobby boxes for the price of the 1 first off the line, and get twice the extra prisms and auto's and memorabilia otherwise.

Ive seen some prisms for sale on ebay where i am like "shoot if I got that guy in an orange prism I may shoot myself".

I may trade the to fotl boxes for some regular hobby. The only way it is worth it is if there is a better chance of pulling hot cards on the hits.

I known I seen some box breaks in the past where companies opened some of the new releases as teaser and pulled some of the best cards out of the product. Not seen it of late but I know it has happened and when it does conspiracy theorist come out of the woodwork. Sorry I could not be of more help but if you find out anything let us know.

I think he might be referring to a brand from Panini called First of the Line and not asking the question do boxes that are released first contain more hits than later in the printing. I thought Panini did some remix type product called FOTL but I'm not sure so I could be way off base here.

The product is panini basketball select. The first off the line boxes are just boxes that guarantee there will be one orange refractor that is numbered to 9. For that the first of the line box is otherwise the same. 3 hits that are memorabilia or autos, and 12 refractors. 60 cards total.

I’m just wanting to know if panini gives any bonuses to these since you pay about 50$ more for that orange josh hart to that no one wants to see in their box.

I don't think they do. Another forum I'm on has significantly more people posting breaks, and some have been downright brutal.

I did a FOTL Prizm and did OK - got a Donovan Mitchell auto, but he hadn't really blown up yet. One of my /8 was a stupid coach card - other was Frank Ntilikina.

However, I have found that, at least for Topps baseball, I generally feel that the first run of retail has better breaks across the board, which would support your theory of trying to hook folk.
