Sammy Watkins to Chiefs on 3yr/$48mil deal

The former Ram (Bills in my mind) is set to sign a 3 year, $42 million dollar contract with the Chiefs once the 2018 league year begins. If Patrick Mahomes is as good as they think, a lineup featuring Tyreek Hill, Sammy Watkins, and Travis Kelce with Kareem Hunt in the backfield is going to look fantastic on paper.

Contract details are 3 years, $48 million with $30 million guaranteed.

just hope they get a healthy Watkins, not the guy that seemed to be always injured in Buffalo. However, this makes a TON of sense on paper.

Mahomes has more talent around him right now than Dan Marino ever had at any point in his career ... no excuses for Patrick but I'm looking forward to watching him sling it ...

Always amazed at how little talent Dan Marino had with the Dolphins. Seriously go back and look at their teams during his career and after a point it was basically just Dan and a bunch of scrubs.

I dunno, Mark Duper and Mark Clayton (aka the Marks brothers) had some good seasons in the 80s. 8 Pro Bowls between them in 21 combined years. Not studly but not scrubby either. The running game on the other hand..... ick.
