To post a direct link from flickr:
1 - Click the picture you want to add to thread
2 - Click arrow right button at bottom right of the black portion of the page ( called Share Photo )
3 - Press BBCode
4 - Copy Paste the top link
You'll get something that looks like this: You can go in and delete the non picture part of the link if it bothers you ( 9 by Steffen Eriksen, on Flickr )
