What a perfect finish for Daniel and Henrik.

It’s very rare that you get to see a pro athlete go out on their own terms and with this type of fanfare. It was a total lovefest at Rogers Arena tonight and they deserved every bit of that.

They’ve given so much to Vancouver for the past seventeen years. It’ll be weird going to Canucks games without them there.

I got home from work to catch the last 5 mins of the 3rd so obviously had to watch their retirement in their last home game.

During the 'One More Year!' chants I thought it would be so awesome if the Sedins just said 'screw it, ONE MORE YEAR!' and watch the fans go crazy.

I guess it's just wishful thinking that something like that would ever happen (even if it wasn't the Sedins), but... cheers to the Sedins and cheers to wishful thinking :)

Well said Roger ......... the Sedins were a class act , and wonderful role models for their community and to the league in General. I for one wish them a happy retirement with their families, and hope they don't come back to haunt us in future world cups and Olympic events (lol)
