    Hard Signed Auto Sets

    Hey all,

I've been out of the hobby for a while and just getting back into it. I've decided that I want to start collecting hard signed autograph sets and I have two questions before I begin:

    1) What do you think are the best hard signed autograph sets out there?
    2) Is there a database somewhere where you can view the "specs" of cards? It would be good if there was a reference point to find hard signed vs. sticker autos, etc

If youre not looking to break the bank you could try looking up the OPC Platinum sets. They have the regular auto set that's roughly 40 hard signed rookie cards, and they also have variations of the die-cut inserts that have hard signed autos of more tenured players but those can be more pricey.

The "best" would be your favorite design, that includes most of the games superstars from the past or present, depending, again. on your preference, and budget.

I'm no a huge autograph fan, but couldn't resist this one, love the design and that it is low #, to /25.

Interested in anything hockey, any team, mostly less common rookie cards and anything with a Team Canada jersey.

Cheap end for 15/16 was Champs, most expensive would be The Cup which is all hard signed. In between you have Premier, SPA, OPCP and some others

On an annual basis SP Authentic, Premier, and Ultimate Collection put out a pretty nice array of hard-signed content. A lot of the autographs in Ultimate are surprisingly cheap for a price point of its nature.

The companies put out product previews for each release and we share them here. You can get an idea from these previews what has hard-signed content vs. sticker autographs.

Welcome back to the hobby, glad you found us!

Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

Also, if you're curious about a particular set, you can lookup some players in the set on eBay to find out if the auto's are hard-signed or sticker autos before you start to collect it.
