ARLINGTON, Texas (AP) — Former Wyoming quarterback Josh Allen has apologized for a series of offensive tweets he sent while in high school.

The potential No. 1 pick apologized for the now-deleted tweets to ESPN's Stephen A. Smith early Thursday, hours before the NFL draft

I haven't seen more than a few of the supposedly "bad" tweets but I don't see what the big deal is? I saw one where he was called too white and said "white is right"; I mean, who cares? It's like an African American saying, "Black don't crack" ... neither is offensive at all.

Then, I saw another where he used the word 'nig**" ... again, who cares? I can't stand the media trying to define words and tell people what they can and cannot say. No racist says "nig**", they use the "hard r" and there are two letters after the second "g" and one of them is not an "a". The word "nig**" is used by both black and whites to simply mean "friend" and Tupac Shakur aka 2PAC, a person millions of whites and blacks respect and believe was a true prophet of the streets used that word all the time and defined it himself as "Never Ignorant Getting Goals Accomplished".

Telling people they can't use the word "nig**" is more absurd than telling pure bred dog breeders they can't use the word "bit*h" as it is offensive to non-canine women. I say "more offensive" because in that example, at least the word "bit*h" is spelled the exact same way, unlike "nig**" and "nigg**"!

I even heard a bunch of media talking about this and saying stuff like, "he was just quoting songs and movies, but that doesn't excuse the offensive language" ... um, YES IT DOES, IT DOES 100%! Many of those same media members praise modern rappers and actors who say incredibly offensive things in their music and movies all the time, yet no one says they are being "bad" ... it's all soooooooooo stupid!

Why can't modern mankind just be sensible these days? Mass insanity isn't a good thing ...
