Series Discussion Thread - Round Two - Tampa Bay Lightning vs Boston Bruins

Two powerhouses of the Atlantic Division square off - one had a real battle in round one and the other had it relatively easy, but it's a fresh start for both.

i think tampa stomps boston in 5 games or 6 max.

I think Boston spent alot more energy on that round than they wanted to - Chara especially was falling apart. I also don't think Pastrnak can keep those kind of numbers up against a team that is actually capable of playing structured hockey

See I think the opposite, I think they rode the emotional wave from game 7 into game 1 and TB seemed like they had a little too much rest and not enough of a challenge in round one. Series is far from over though.

Brad Marchand, 2 minutes for licking. Yuck...Great player but he is embarrassing himself and the B's. Not a good look at all, hopefully a teammate tells him to knock it off.

It could have been unrelated to the lick, but I think Chara said something to him when he was on the bench. Who knows though. I'm sure someone said something to him after the rest of the team saw the replays.

The league needs to contact him and explain that the next incident (or anything similar) will result in a suspension and fine. That will end it.

They actually already had contacted him after the second or third lick. Obviously it had no affect.
