Look forward to seeing Kovy back in the NHL. A good pickup for L.A. considering what he could possibly bring to the table. Only time will tell if he can bring anything close to the stats to justify that deal. I am sure he had some other offers though I would love to hear the length and dollar amount from other suitors.

Kovalchuk started paying attention to the defensive side of the game when he was with the Devils. He even did some penalty killing, and did it pretty well.
Can you imagine Kovalchuk and Kopitar on the penalty kill? Should be fun to watch.
