Post Dead body discovered at the home of Giants Janoris Jenkins

    http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/arti...s-Jenkins.html

A family friend of New York Giants cornerback Janoris Jenkins was found dead Tuesday morning inside the basement of the football player's New Jersey home.

Prosecutors and police in Bergen County confirmed 25-year-old Roosevelt Rene was discovered by a house worker at the residence located on 14 Van Saun Place in Fair Lawn.

Officials are investigating Rene's death as possible strangulation and suffocation, NFL Network reporter Mike Garafolo said on Twitter this afternoon.

The 29-year-old was said to have had been in Florida - where he is from - at the time police and a coroner arrived to the residence.

The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office released a statement on the matter.

'The Bergen County Prosecutor's Office Major Crimes Unit and the Fair Lawn Police Department are investigating a death,' Acting Prosecutor Dennis Calo said in the statement.

The prosecutor's office previously said the victim had not been living at the home, but later released an updated suggesting Rene had moved in recently.

    WHAT?????????????????????????????????????????????? ?????????????????????????????

I can't believe I didn't hear about this before ... this is insane!

The way the report in the link reads, one would think that either Janoris' brother murdered this man, or that Janoris did it, or that Janoris had it done ... but anyone reporting anything like that would obviously be jumpig the gun, as for all we know this man's death has no connection to Janoris himself.

Honestly, I don't like the way the article is worded, as for all we know Janoris' brother could have found the dead man and simply been flying to Florida to talk with Janoris, and just traumatized by what he so, so much so that he couldn't fly ... who knows?

I definitely hope the press doesn't start crucifying Janoris without any evidence ... innocent until proven guilty is always the best policy imho.

William Jenkins, brother of Janoris Jenkins of the New York Giants, was named a “person of interest” in the investigation into death of Roosevelt Rene, a man who was found dead in the cornerback’s home Tuesday.

He was now been arrested and charged with aggravated manslaughter.

It’s believed that Jenkins, a 34-year-old ex-convict, strangled his victim.
