So . Ottawa is allowing teams to contact Karlsson

If you could make a sign and trade offer for your team

    1) would you
    2) what’s the contract
    3) are you willing to take Bobby Ryan’s contract
    4) what is the trade?

    ——

As a Sabre fan, this is a no brainer

Offer 8years, 88 mil (same as doughty)

I would only entertain Ryan’s contact if they took Matt moulsons contract and retained $1 million of Ryan’s

If that can happen, the I would offer the rights the Sam reinhart, nate beauleau, moulson, maybe Alex Nylander

Erik Karlsson was nearly traded to the Golden Knights at the trade deadline. The only hangup was that Ottawa wanted Cody Glass as part of the trade and George McPhee declined. I fully expect that Vegas will give it another go. They will be successful this time.

As well as McPhee should have. He knows that his team was a fluke last season and dealing the teams first ever pick was not good idea, especially if they were to eat Ryan’s contract.

Well apparently the Sens have a “no deals within the division” policy of sorts so that rules out the Sabres..and the Habs (like we have the goods lol). I think Vegas makes another serious run at it as well. What a mess it is in the nation’s capital.

The local rumblings are that he wants a long term $12M AAV which ain't going to happen in Ottawa. There are probably only three or four Western teams that could make such a trade happen and besides I think he wants a fresh start elsewhere.
The want list at this link features what I need of Gretzky, Roy, Ottawa Senators, and Miscellaneous sets. I also have a CFL want list on my page and if you have nothing from it I will consider other traders of current Ottawa Senators,Guy Lafleur, + trade bait.

The Knights with Stastny and Karlsson would be a serious contender!

Sportsnet and Larry Brooks are reporting that he's looking for a similar contract to Doughty, 8 years $11 million AAV.

The latest rumours are stating that Karlsson could be going to a number of teams but can you imagine him going to Tampa Bay? That power play would be the best in the league, hands down.

Stamkos, Kucherov, Point, Hedman and Karlsson (assuming that Point is not traded in the deal).

    Or Washington ...

Ovechkin, Backstrom, Kuznetsov, Carlson, and Karlsson.

Pretty scary scenarios for the rest of the league.

Sergachev in Tampa is a good young mobile d-man too. 40 points at 19 years old, that's solid.
