Shipping Question
Hello!
Might have already been covered if so I will try to find the thread -
With myself collecting Hockey only and being in the states shipping costs are racking up to Canada.
Unless I send in PWE - its $10 no matter what in a padded envelope. Up to 10 OZ.- Plus a customs form.
So I prefer to get big trades going lately. Which sucks comes sometimes it can't be a big trade.
Anyways is there something I am missing on cutting down the costs perhaps?
Thanks
Tim

Use paypal.com/shipnow and choose documents. I label them on the customs forms as hockey pictures (which technically they are) and only put a value of $15-20 on the package. Caveat to this is if the cards are worth more, then you need to state value as accurate for insurance purposes/.

I use the paypal.com/shiplabel/create/ website too. It work perfectly and costs $2.50 international unless the package weighs more. I usually put Picture and $5.00
@sparty07 Correct me if I am wrong, but there's no insurance internationally unless you send Priority Mail or Registered.Flickr: Hidden Content

I think that's correct, but if you do want insurance the customs value has to match what you will claim from insurance
