Ezekiel Elliott annoyed a bunch of fans Saturday afternoon in Fort Worth
Ezekiel Elliott’s stiff arm is in mid-season form.
At least for some fans on Saturday afternoon.
The Dallas Cowboys’ running back was at the Amon G. Carter Exhibit Hall signing autographs as part of the National Fantasy Football Convention.
Problem is Elliott arrived much later to the autograph session than was expected, leaving some fans in line for over two hours. Waiting long hours for an autograph, especially for someone as popular as Elliott, isn’t out of the ordinary.

I'd be annoyed if I could only get an autograph on a t-shirt especially after being initially told two items were okay. Can't imagine he's hard up for t-shirt money, I imagine it's due to some merchandising/marketing agreement.

As you said the people were told one thing so I got why they are upset. The problem is this has nothing to do with Ezekiel as he was not there so what people were telling them they could get any two items signed. Those are the people I would be upset with.

Public signings can be problematic for any player or company ... it just is what it is.

I concur but this makes Ezekiel look bad not the people hosting the event where the fault lies.

This does make Zeke look bad. Whether he knew or not, I hope he was courteous to some people.
I have been to many paid and free signings for the Seahawks. The paid ones, sometimes a player would be anywhere from several minutes up to an hour late. When that happened, it was always due to traffic. The signings would start 5pm up to 7pm, when people are getting off work and going home, so I understand when they are late. It still sucks though lol. Free signings or events are different. The players can show up late for a variety of reasons. But, when something gets announced and it says bring your personal item or 2 items allowed, then within hours of the event starting and many people already lined up, they change it. They will say no more personal items and that a photo would be provided. People do get upset. I've seen it and experienced it. Some people will try and sneak something in or wait till after the event and try and get them as they are leaving. Sometimes the player is apologetic, as Marshawn Lynch surprisingly was to me after they changed the rules because of the people ahead of me with several items each, and sometimes it's a last minute request from the player because they have something important right after.
It happens a lot with people being told one thing and not being updated with any changes until the event is about to start or has already started.
The only fault for Zeke was being late.I collect Seahawks Relic-GU & 1/1's
