NORMAN — Eleven-year-old Ethan Cervantes, undoubtedly the biggest Oklahoma football fan in San Diego, was here to get an autograph.

“Marquise Brown’s,” he said in the long line under the east grandstand of Owen Field.

Ethan was sweating through his crimson No. 10 jersey, but this was worth it. By the way, did you know Steven Parker used to wear No. 10, but now it belongs to Austin Kendall? This kid knew.

“When he goes to school he’s constantly explaining and sharing everything he knows about OU football,” said Ethan’s aunt, Dalila Stafford. “He comes to visit us in Ada during the summer, and we made this a special trip over.”
