More TO News?!?!?!
I just heard on ESPN Radio that TO was taken to the hospital after a supposed suicide attempt. He "ingested a large amount of pain medication".
First off, I'll say that if this is all true, I obviously hope he's ok, and I hope he gets the help he needs.
Unfortunately, with TO's background, it's difficult to take away the fact that this MIGHT be another ploy for attention. I sincerely hope it isn't, and I doubt it is, but the possibility remains, because of his past actions.
I was just wondering what everyone thought about this. Am I being too cynical?
Thanks
Andrew

I'm not saying this for sure, i just spoke my opinion. hope he gets the help he needs, mentally and physically and gets back on the field, regardless of his off field issues, he is a great player.

I dont think this is the attention factor and I honestly hope that he is ok. On another note I dont think he needs to go back to the NFL because of this but I do think he needs to get help.

Is the suicide attempt something they released this morning ? I heard about this last night and they were saying he was having an adverse reaction to some pain medicine.

Yeah Rick, it came out this morning. The Cowboys are holding a Press Conference at 2:30 EST, last I heard.

And now, his publicist is coming out and saying it wasn't suicide, but he accidentally mixed pills in attempting to calm his allergic reactions. But you can't get past the fact that when the paramedics asked him "are you trying to harm yourself" he said "yes."

I can't stand the guy. However, I never would wish harm on him. If this is true, then I really feel bad for him and he has alot of mental issues he's dealing with (which actually explains alot).
I guess his news confrence just got pushed back to 3:15 ET. Guess we will have to wait and see what he has to say.

How do you think I feel, I live 60 miles from Dallas so its all I hear about. Every paper, radio station, and tv station has osmething to say. Its bad enough seeing it on ESPN all the time. As long as he's out on the field making plays I dont care how much I here, but there hasnt been enough games for him to make up for all the crap Ive heard already.
Plus propaganda has gotten WAY out of hand. Its ridiculous and is tearing our country apart. Politics is worse than ever. But now propaganda is horrible in sports as well. Try not to buy into all the propaganda, no matter what subject. Just a side note.
