Offline Due to Ottawa Storm
Just a quick note to say that although we are safe we likely won't have power for several days and I will respond to all PMs when we do.

At least we still have a roof and our trees are still standing unlike just two blocks away. Today they finally removed the white delivery truck and the crushed red card form the Greenbank picture, and they have installed a temporary high tension wire tower to replace the one that crumpled.

Power to the damaged area was restored at 0230 this morning (82 hours) thanks to a herculean effort by Ottawa Hydro and Hydro One. Time to restock the house and there is work so I will try and catch up on all the outstanding PMs this evening. Thanks to those who are waiting for their patience.

Glad to know you are safe. Unfortunately I have been in that situation a couple of times. The electric company workers are the unsung heroes of severe weather.
