Question Le’Veon Bell To Report To Steelers During Week 7 Bye?

    https://www.profootballrumors.com/20...ing-week-7-bye

UPDATE, 6:09 PM CST: Although Bell has now made it known he plans on reporting to the Steelers, the team is still “expected to be interested in listening to trade offers” for the running back sources told Adam Schefter of ESPN (Twitter link). Schefter notes that Bell’s announcement will “not dissuade” the Steelers from making a deal if the terms are favorable. It remains unclear what kind of trade market Bell would have for a one-year rental, but it’s possible they could get something. It was reported yesterday that the Eagles and 49ers had some interest.

The question everyone in the football world has been asking finally has an answer. Steelers running back Le’Veon Bell plans to report to the team during Pittsburgh’s bye week in Week 7, a source told Jeremy Fowler of ESPN (Twitter link).

I figured he'd hold out till week 10, then get his 6 games in for an accrued season. Until Todd Gurley signed that contract extension, Bell really seemed like he was out there with his contract demands. It hurt the Steelers management's position on a contract offer when the Rams gave all that guaranteed money to Gurley.

He may report in week 7 but not play till week 10 … who knows what that guy is thinking, but as-is, if he doesn't return the Steelers looks like a 7-8-1 type of team this season.

Connors is doing a good job and I would not change that! Greed is not good for management or the team!
Looking for Aaron Judge cards, current Kansas City Royals and Kansas City Chiefs!

If you are a workhorse in the NFL and want that security "Guaranteed Money", then you don't have a problem with Le'Veon and what he is doing. Guy came out and said that he didn't want to carry the ball 400 times a year without a good show of faith from his team. He basically is the centerpiece to that offense, and James Conner can't do what he does. Did I lose respect for the guy, yes, but I can see where he is coming from. Money is the root of all evil, but personal health and that word "Guarantee" is what he is living. Once he does come back, the Steelers would be stupid not to use him.

All I am going to say is when a player on the Broncos holds out, I usually stop buying his cards.

I feel sorry for those Steeler fans who spent a ton in him.

Wasn't there a story out there a while back that he wanted traded if he didn't get what he wanted?
If so, it's funny that the Steelers are now shopping him and he now says he don't want traded.
The crybaby needs to sign the tag, or be gone. He'd never last in the NFL in the 70's and before. He'd be out first game. For what little they got paid back then and how hard they played, he wouldn't last.

I imagine many of the players who played in the 70s would hold out and do exactly what Lev is doing, if they played in 2018 …
