    Question

    I know this is probally dumb but what is special about a chrome card? Are they better than a base card? Also what is a parellel card?

    some one has to know if a card is special if it has chrome on it.

    its just the quality of the card.....sets like topps chrome / bowman chrome are higher end / more expensive products cause the cards are obviously much nicer....then, you have some sets like dp&p in which there are parallel chrome cards....parallels are cards in which every card in the base set is represented with some kind of variation (chrome, gold, etc....most parallels have a smaller print run than the base set)
