What's stupid is that he paid a $0.15 cents more by posting at a $1.00. He could have saved that and posted at $0.99!!! Not to mention he has to pay for the BIN fee as well!!! :D

dont think someone who has the money to spend on such a set (he has 35 of the cards already...the average cost is over $100 each) really cares about the 25 cents he spent to have 150+ people see his auction....and if you use a fixed price (not an auction format) the fee is the same for a penny or $9.99.....probably cost him a total of 10 cents for that advertisment!! not a bad deal IMO

actually (and I could care less) he cannot do what he is doing. It's against eBay rules...but is a genius idea if he doesn't get caught.

i think i'm gonna try that for my Snee cards!! lol... i've never seen anything like that before, but it seems like a great idea.

but, as asujbl pointed out... it's against ebay rules. i just don't know what would happen if i got caught?

anybody have any ideas?? would they just close it or suspend me or what?

sorry to hijack the thread, but this is a very interesting idea and i'd like to try it as long as the consequences aren't that severe.

Personally he should be made to produce and sell the cards he put up for auction if someone bids on them, after all it is an auction site, not an advertisement site....but as someone stated ebay dont care they just want the seller fees...smoker

This is actually the second time I seen a similar auction that was a wantlist. He sure got a lot of views. Just like how sellers put "non auto" or "non exquisite" to get more views lol
