This will show him!
Ok, I went to my local Kmart with my dad because he had to buy a phone charger. I went over to the card area because I had a few bucks to spend and had the urge to open something. I walk over there and there is a kid and his mom. I look at the kid's hands and I see and pack that he is bending the corner one ever so slightly. As soon as I saw this, I thought "PACK SEARCHER!". I was acting like I was just picking something out, looking through the boxes they had. I saw his mom walk to go check out, and he said he was gonna be right back, and he had to go to the bathroom. I saw him set the pack down. I grabbed it, went up to customer service and bought it. I went into the car with my dad, and sure enough, I pulled a shaun alexander all-pro relics card- BV $15. I fell kinda bad, because I almost feel like I was the pack searcher, buying the pack and knowing there was something in it, but I wanted to teach him a lesson. Anyways, thought I would give you a laugh, and a good story. peace

I have done that before but my story is a little more disheartning. When I first got back into cards I became good friends with a local dealer. I used to hang out around the shop to learn more about the hobby since I wanted to become a dealer. The one day I came in when like 5 new products came out. He asked me to help him get set up before the saturday rush started coming in. While we were opening the boxes to be packed out, he goes to me mae sure you shuffle all the packs and put the sweet spot right by the counter. I was wondering why and I got my first lesson of how products have the GU and auto in the same place in alot of products and how people search packs like sweetspot. The next day I went to another shop and bought some packs and got absolutley nothing. I went to my local shop and told him of my misfortune and he goes" The owner searches, you will never get anything there. Thats why he has so many nice cards in his showcase") So I went back to the other shop one day the next week and saw him in the back part of the shop pricing up packs from many products. I noticed he had 12 packs of various products 2 the side not priced. He left to go take care of a customer and I took the packs, went to his other cashier and bought them. I took them to the other shop and sure enough every pack had a GU or Auto in it!! Sorry about the rant but I thought I would share also

10 year old kid, that is sad...What else is sad is the grown men I have seen in Target/Kmart doing same thing. EVEN MORE SORRY still was the young boy one time
asking a grown man pack searching what he was doing(Happen to overhear this in Target a few years ago)...and then the man trying to explain what he was doing. I don't believe in pack searching, even back in the day with the Bo Jackson Football/Baseball card. It takes all the fun and excitement out of the hobby.
