Super Bowl Picks!
Who's winning the super bowl this year?

Smart money says Saints over Chiefs, but before the year started I predicted Saints over Chargers, so I might as well stick with that.
However, it would be pretty cool if it was Bears v Ravens and the game ended 7-6 with some defender scoring the game-winning TD, hahaha.

I'd be up for that ... it would be fun to watch a defensive battle on the big stage!

Preseason I picked the Patriots versus the Rams with the Rams winning and that possibility could still happen now but it seems less likely with that injury to the Rams. Cooper something. The Rams just haven't played right since he went down.

Cooper Kupp ... he seemed to be Goff's favorite receiver and was a big "loss" ... however the Rams are still loaded and Kupp was never their "best receiver" so they should be okay ... we'll see.

As for the 4 QB's that played today ... Luck played great, Dak managed the game well and made some big-time clutch runs, DeShaun Watson was throwing balls into the dirt, behind and over his receivers all day while also celebrating like Cam Newton even when they were down 21-0 ... it was a bad game and a bad look for DeShaun and he's getting killed on Twitter but he's still got a bright future and could have a magnificent career if the Texans can go the Cowboys route and give him a great O-Line and run game as he's not a "Luck" type of QB that is a legit gunslinger ... and Russell Wilson was basically a complete no-show ... very disappointing performance from Russ today, but seeing as he threw for less than 3,500 yards playing all 16 games, I wasn't expecting too much against that Cowboys nasty defense.
Both games tomorrow should be fantastic games as well and I'm really interested to see how Lamar & Mitchell handle their first playoff pressure ...

Two UGLY games today but I had fun seeing defensive battles ...
Lamar Jackson was terrible, as in all-time worst QB playoff performance ever terrible, up until the time he should have been benched for Flacco, but was left in the game by Harbaugh and then put on a little show. I'm happy for him that Harbaugh stuck with him, as had he been benched in the 4th quarter when he had NEGATIVE TWO NET PASSING YARDS and basically a 0.0 passer rating & QBR, that could have destroyed his confidence going into next year and turned the entire fan base against him ... but Harbaugh stuck with him, he threw a couple late TDs and can at least have some confidence going forward ...
The Chargers laid a beat down on Baltimore and then let up ... which could serve them well against the Pats as now they know they can be dominant but can also blow a massive lead if they take even a couple of series off ... I think the Chargers can beat the Pats next week if they bring their "A" game.
As for the Bears/Eagles ... nothing really stood out to me and I think the Eagles get destroyed by the Saints next week and the Bears need to get Trubisky some legit play-makers in the receiving game ...

Time management at the end of the game was atrocious for the Bears and for some reason Trubisky wasn't runnunguch which made no sense. Bears defense did their job holding the Eagles to a low score and forcing two INTs. Parkey made a bunch of field goals, unrealistic to expect perfection and knowing he's not a top kicker shouldn't have let the game get down to that point. Having said that.... Good thing the Bears cut Robbie Gould to pick up Josh Sitton a couple years back.......

My big takeaway is that Lamar Jackson got exposed a little bit. Clearly his style of play wasn't going to last, he is going to have to learn to read through progressions and use his legs second, similar to how Cam Newton has learned to do.
