    Facebook marketplace Finds

    Hey everyone,

I just wanted to share a find I had today on facebook marketplace. I found a guy selling his 4000 count hockey collection that he didn't know what was in it and he just wanted to get rid of it. I offered him 20 bucks and he took it. I bought it pretty much to see if any PC stuff was in it and heres what I found.

65 PC cards highlighted by a ed belfour RC
    Lindros score RC x4
    Brouder score RCx3
    Jagr score RC x 4
Multiple star rookies of everyone from the early 90s
    Roberto Luango Aurora RC
    Hossa Omega RC
Crosby and OVI Sports Illistratued for Kids RCs
Kamil Piros OPeeChee prospects red /100
Markus Naslund OPeeChee light blue /500
    Gaborik 04Prizm blue / 325
    Pierre Turgeon Titanium red /299
    Justin Williams Bowman GU
    Paul Kariya Power Play GU
plus multiple star player cards and second year cards of star players.
plus 100 or so top loaders.

I figured for 20 bucks its not a bad haul and was curious if anyone has any cool finds or stories about buying cards or collections of people that didn't know what was in it.

Thats what I figured, plus I usually don't buy boxes or random stuff for hockey like this as I only collect certain players but I figured for 20 bucks at the very least I would be a nights worth of entertainment going through the cards to see whats in it.

    Cant pass on that price.

Nice finds. I don't buy in bulk, but hearing these stories are very cool. Even if it's nothing massive, paying $20 for a huge collection of cards (and sorting through them all) would be a blast!

Kinda sorta related, but I posted in a large Facebook group that I collected Enroth when I was new to the hockey card universe that existed on Facebook. I then discovered a few more Enroth collectors that I didn't know were out there (because how many could there be,really?). Some of them had some great cards of his, including this beast I was able to luckily snag. Up until that point, I had no idea this card had even been pulled/redeemed, so imagine my surpise when a guy said he had this:

Reasons like this is why you need to keep advertising that you collect your PC player. You just never know who's going to have a card you need...

Wow that a beauty of a card, I usually don't post on facebook about my collecting stuff just because I am in north dakota. Theres not many collectors out here and the ones that are usually pc what I do. Fun to talk stuff when I see them but not many deals to be made when everyone is collecting the same thing.

Is collecting on Facebook a major thing? I'm perhaps the last person on earth to still not have a Facebook account, and really don't want one, but I also don't want to miss out.

Yes, it's quite big. A lot of good groups for trading, selling, buying, razzing, and breaking
