Hey y'all, my name is matt and I'm a addict......Oh, wrong forum or maybe not ;)

Where you from?
A cornfield........in Indiana......basically nowhere.

What do you do for a living?
I make money for the man. Oh, Im a Technician(I do stuff for engineers....that have no clue what is going on)

Married?
Yep, high school sweetheart

Kids?
Nope.
Animals, yes. You want a list (sure you do)?
1 dog: Gunner (boxador)
3 cats: dozer, vader, and jasper
2 snails (yes, you read that right): slimer and scooter
1 beta fish: Finley

How long have you been collecting cards?
Maybe over a month or 2 BUT during the card rush of the 90's, I was heavy in it as a kid. But as time went on, I left the hobby. Now, I'M BACK!!!!!

Why/How did you return to the hobby?
One word, YOUTUBE (technically that is 2 words put together as one but whatever). Recently, my coworkers and I were discussing sports which lead to discussing our old passion for cards and players we collected. Then, disaster hit, I went to youtube to see how the hobby is doing nowadays. Wow! The cards nowadays are BEAUTIFUL! My old cards were dog poopy compared to now. Soooooo, I went down the youtube abyss of card breaks and collection videos. I just had to jump back in because i love my focus sports and I miss it. The rest is history.

What are your other hobbies?
Lol, this is going to be funny as I'm not joking that I have a addictive personally. So let's start with collections:
Toys: Transformers, tmnt, horror, pops, etc.
Comics
Horror movies (dvds and blu-rays)
Coins
Vintage lighters (I like to repair broken ones)
Knives
Flashlights
Firearms
Air guns
Vintage video games
Vintage magazines

Things I like to do:
Work on cars and motorcycles
Ride motorcycles
Play with Hobby Grade RC'S (I have about 15+ right now)
Play video games
Watch sports: nfl,nhl, and nascar
Repair vintage lighters and firearms.
Love to watch anime and cartoons.
Love watching horror movies.
Youtube content creator
Tobacco pipe smoking
Read comics
Avid hunter and firearm enthusiasts

I know I am missing some other stuff in there but you get the idea, I'm a addict......or a hobbyist???? Sure.

What cards are you looking to collect?
I'm looking to focus my collection on my favorite drivers and teams with a focus on relics and serials mainly.

Nascar:
Tony Stewart
Clint Bowyer
Cole Custer

NHL:
Chicago Blackhawks only

NFL:
Indianapolis Colts Only

Other:
Anything dragon ball related such as dbz, dbgt, and dbs. Rares and Halos only.
Movie and TV

What is your goal here at sportscardforum.com?

My goal is to make connections with honest collectors to help improve their collections while in the process improving mine, to learn from seasoned collectors, and to be part of a helpful community.

I feel like I'm in a pageant ***begins to weep and wave his hand in a slow flowing fashion while blowing kisses*** Too much? Lol
