When is a good time to sell my Allen & Ginter case?
Seeing that the wholesale for these cases has jumped to $1450 last week I think I am ready to move my case. Would I be better off waiting until the holidays or will collectors be spending their money on other things? Also should I break the case and sell boxes or lots, or sell as a sealed case?

Break the case, and sell the boxes. Not everyone is willing to spend $1500 on baseball cards.

Allen & Ginter is a hot product right now, and if I had a case that I was not interested in breaking for my own collection I would be selling right now. You could either sell the case as it is now and get one large lump amount for it, or you could break it and sell the boxes individually. You would make more in the long run selling the case by the box, but you would get more money up front by selling it as a case. However, either way I would sell right now.

I agree with MichiganMan, but like I said earlier, most people won't have $1500 to spend on baseball cards. There are better things to buy with that kind of money.
You would be better off bustin the case, and selling the boxes individually.

Waiting for the holidays is a bad idea- there will be 2 steep gas bills before then, plus people will be looking for TME Xtreme and Xbox 7 etc., not Allen and Ginter...

Thanks for all the input. Ebay's 20 cent listing day makes it much easier to list the case tonight. Seeing that one already sold for $1450 today, I will be listing it sealed.
