My first hobby box, not bad for $40 eh?

Obviously it's not Series 1, however for $40 bucks? didn't know it was possible, lol.. And there are plenty of McDavids to pull in Series 2... I watched a few breaks on youtube and there is some good stuff to be had.... Obviously I'm looking for Eichel and McDavid, and of course I won't be getting a regular McDavid YG, however the McDavid Canvas is in S2 as well as the Program of Excellence (POE) and there are plenty of other cool inserts in this product as well..

So yea - this will be my first time breaking a hobby box - the only reason why I've really never broke one is because there aren't many card shops by me and the places I find it convenient to by cards from only sell blasters, tins and fat packs... So this will be a new experience for me, and I really am stunned I got this box for this cheap (I was prepared to go a little higher, lol).. I got it off of ebay but still. I won it at auction, so it wasn't exactly a "buy it now" thing, wish it was because I would have bought a case at 40 bucks a box, lol. I don't know what they retail for really but I know it's way more than $40, and I know I got a deal so I'm already satisfied... Not only that but UD is generally pretty good with giving you technically what you paid for... So yea, in hits and young guns combined I'm expecting at least $100..

Also, I purchased a bunch of wax from the late 80's and early 90's for very cheap - a lot of 89-90 - obviously nothing "insane" but still fun cards none the less. Pulling rookies of ATG Hall of Famers is still pretty fun. A Joe Sakic RC? why not, lol?.. Not only that but I've been buying a lot of vintage hockey recently too so after this break I'll certainly be posting some pics to show off some of the adds to my PC.. A lot of Bobby Orr, Bobby Hull and Gordie Howe cards - not only them but other HOFers as well - a lot of Hawks.... I mean if you'e a true hockey collector you will love the vintage stuff..

GL with the box. I bought a box of the retail version of that a while back. Even with the exchange rate, I.m in Canada, I paid more than you did lol. And it was on "sale". I did pull an Eichel YG however.

I bought a retail box for about 35USD. The few extra more bucks are well worth it, with the possibility of a parallel, patch or auto. Good luck with your break :)
