Basically echoing what Sean has said. I’ve used COMC Mailboxes for the occasional steal of a deal because it is obvious that many Canadians are still shying away from the Global Shipping Program and just not bidding on cards that feature that from the seller. It’s great for those deals even if it does add a couple months of time until you actually receive the card. I usually wait until I have 20-25 cards in there before shipping makes for a nice big mailday.
Habs fan and collector! Current PC's: Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, and Lane Hutson...., and of course...

ahhh - OK - I should have been more clear on the rationale for the question.
I am considering a modification to the Trade Manager to allow for a secondary address (like a PO Box in the US/Canada or service like COMC Mailboxes).
Do you see this as something that would be helpful?

If a member on ships to the States I simply let them know I am interested and to make a deal with me they dont have to ship to Canada.
Dont think having a secondary address will do much

Perhaps?
I have used COMC for a deal here once or twice. Not sure the last time though.
The only way I'd use it, is if I was buying a larger lot, and I planned on flipping most of it anyway.
You and I making a deal, since you're not charging 20 bucks for s/h, I couldn't see myself using it.

I haven’t really had any hiccups in Canada-US trading here. I can understand why US seller would want a set minimum value if they’re shipping to Canada for a single card but for the most part things are pretty smooth.
That said I think it would be a good option. COMC always sends a notification to your email when a package arrives so you would just use that as confirmation of receiving your end of the deal and could mark as complete at that point.

All of the taxes and duties in both directions have been horrible for sales/deals. Everything is costing more and these taxes just fill the coffers of states governments with no benefit to those who live in the state.
Ridiculous. Nothing is sacred anymore.

I'm going to agree/disagree here.
I mean, yeah. A big part of what has made online shopping successful is that we get to buy products we want, and avoid sales taxes. It took 20 years, but it shouldn't be a shock that states & (or provinces, countries, whatever) figured out how to re-write laws and get some of that money back.
Does it make me happy? No. Costs me more to buy things. I get why they'd want it though.....
As for the whole no benefit thing.... hunh? Those taxes are collected, and go into general revenues. If the suggestion is that the government doesn't do anything of value for it's people, okay. I'll leave that one alone. The government does spend it's tax money on stuff though.....
I wouldn't call our right to shop online, and avoid sales taxes, sacred.
