Supposedly they only have 24 guys working all the vintage and modern grading stuff. That's why it takes FOREVER to get stuff returned from them. They are swamped and only spend 90 seconds to 3 minutes on each card when you mail them in.

Yeah Beckett kind of changes the rules as it wishes. The LCS I go to use to send in 200-400 cards to Beckett for grading every few weeks. This was setup through a Beckett representative. After about two months, Beckett changed the rules and said could send 100 at a time max once the order from before is completed. I have known for awhile that Beckett is short on graders but it really is ridiculous. These are not elite athletes, these are people who are trained to grade cards. You would think for morale they would have added more graders A LONG TIME AGO.

Matt- Really am sorry to hear about your troubles. You mentioned not having a LCS around you that sends cards in for grading. Maybe you could ask your LCS to see if they know of anyone. In this area it seems like card shops are trying to add more ways to add profit/attract more people into shops. Started with case and box breaks and seems like more are starting to send group submissions in also. Best of luck
