Greeting from Albuquerque!

Hi Everyone

I am a live long sports fan. I grew up in the Lafayette Louisiana area, St. Martinville to be exact. Used to listen to LSU football on Saturday nights on a transistor radio with my dad in the early 70s. Became interested in baseball when Ron Guidry burst onto the scene. Started collecting baseball cards as a hobby while in the Marines in the mid 80s. Just picked it back up in the last couple of years on a small scale. I am a big Diamondbacks fan and get to a few games there and also in Coors field a few times a season. I became interested in autographs after catching a Jake Lamb HR at Coors field on August 12th. I collect for fun....only the players I like along with most Diamondbacks present and past. My main collecting now is of Greinke. I just started collecting Hines Ward cards due to the fact he completed an Ironman in Hawaii in 2013. Triathlon is my other current hobby. I am self employed living with my wife in Albuquerque, NM. Along the way I attended Louisiana Lafayette and Arizona State...thus my Diamondback connection. I worked summers in Yellowstone NP while in college. I have 3 kids...one in Chandler, AZ and two at home (I recently graduated in Civil Engineering) other is a Jr who runs cross country.

Welcome..... I caught a HR ball from Alex Rodriguez his second year with the Yankees.. It is a great feeling. I'm a big football fan but I'm gonna be starting a baseball card collection next ..

Isnt't it still surreal? Every time I see someone on TV catch a HR ball I say to myself I know how they feel!!! I consider myself lucky that I caught one for sure. What stadium did you catch yours?
