Yeah that would do it. I knew Leaf bought stuff for their products on eBay but I didn't know Upper Deck did. Maybe they have something big planned?

Yeah, I don't know. My first thought was the same as palantri above, part of the new Buybacks product.
Seemed like an odd set to be of use for Buybacks though.

Other than buybacks, UD sometimes do retro sets numbered to /25 or something like that

Why would UD need to go onto eBay to get this stuff? Chris Carlin could walk into any of the shops within an hour of his work and pick something up - not to mention the shows that he goes to as a good will ambassador.
