06 Gridiron UGLY~~~
Hey guys, Like many of you, last yr I was crazed over 05 Donruss Gridiron Gear, The product was hot and simply knocked out any other product as far as design, swatch etc etc.
This year, Im sad to say, they didnt duplicate last yr.
Just search ebay "Gridiron 06" and u will see,
The swatches are smaller, not as many jumbo swatches and the autos are primarily rookies that are high serial #ed just like this years Donruss Classics . Really bumbed out, dont know if anyone else has seen these:(

I personally love them but I must agree, not too many big patches out their yet.

totally agree....was very excited for this release, but i dont like the design, size of the swatches/patches, and the print run (all things that made last years much more desirable IMO)

From what I have seen so far, I agree too...not only the design, but I have seen a lot of box breaks/pack breaks on here for '06 and there don't seem to be as many really nice hits like there seemed to be in the '05 stuff.
