Another IP Success - Habs Prospect Cole Fonstad!

"The future is bright, the future is bright..." This is all we Habs fans have to go on right now. So I went out last night to see a bit of that future, as the Everett Silvertips and Cole Fonstad were in town to take on the Rockets. The kid is really good, plays on the 1st line as well as 1st wave of the power play and also on the penalty kill. Had two assists on the night and was absolutely stoned on a big save by the Rockets goalie. Like, the type that gives a player nightmares wondering "how did he stop that?"

Fonstad was taken in the 5th round by the Habs in 2018 - he's only about 5'10" and 180lbs so a bit of a long road ahead of him, but if he keeps up the hard work he could be just like Gallagher: an under-sized player taken in a later round who earns it.

Here's some pics and signed cards!

Habs fan and collector! Main PC's: Carey Price, Nick Suzuki, Cole Caufield, Juraj Slafkovsky, and of course...

Awesome IP autos. Team Canada cards always look great signed! Maybe try a silver or gold sharpie next time? Would look awesome on those darker cards.

I do have a gold but I usually only use that for the guys who have won Gold at the World Juniors (ie. Byram and Hofer last month) - silver also tends to fail 50% of the time, so I like ole reliable blue!

That actually makes a lot of sense. I like your sharpie system!
